Announcement of successful grant applications for 2021

The Trustees are pleased to announce the following successful applicants for research grants for 2021:

  1. Professor John Pimanda, Prince of Wales Hospital/Lowy Cancer Research CentreUNSW Sydney. Project title:“Targeting the bone marrow microenvironment to improve outcomes in MDS”.
  2. Professor Richard Lock, Children’s Cancer Institute, Lowy Cancer Research Centre, UNSW Sydney. Project title:” Mechanisms of sensitivity to novel AKR1C3-activated prodrugs in paediatric leukaemia
