The Trustees of the Anthony Rothe Memorial Trust are pleased to announce a call for applications to the Trust for research grants commencing in 2020. The closing date for applications is Friday 30th August 2019. Applicants are advised to refer to the guidelines published on the website when preparing applications.
Announcement of successful grant applications for 2020-2021
The Trustees are pleased to announce the following successful applicants for research grant funding for 2020-21:
1. Dr Bellamy Cheung and Professor Glenn Marshall, Molecular Carcinogenesis Program, Children’s Cancer Institute, Lowy Cancer Research Centre, University of NSW, for the project “Targeting PA2G4 as a novel treatment strategy for leukaemia and lymphoma”
2. Dr Charles de Bock, Children’s Cancer Institute University of New South Wales, for the project “The mutant JAK3-driven spliceosome in T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukaemia.”
3. Associate Professor Georgina Clark, Dendritic Cell Research, ANZAC Research Institute, Concord, for the project “CD300f-Antibody Drug Conjugate to Improve Haematopoietic Cell Transplants in AML”
4. Dr Vivien Chen and Associate Professor William Stevenson, Department of Haematology, Concord Hospital, for the project “A novel predictor of thrombosis in myeloproliferative neoplasm”
