Charles Alexander


Mr Alexander is a Senior Legal Consultant at Minter Ellison where he was a Partner between 1986 and 2013. He practices principally in the area of intellectual property and, more recently, privacy. He is a member of the Law Council of Australia Committees on Intellectual Property and Privacy. He is a founding trustee of the Anthony Rothe Memorial Trust.

Ken Bradstock


Professor Ken Bradstock has been a trustee of the Anthony Rothe Memorial Trust since 2001. He was a clinical haematologist and staff specialist physician in Haematology at Westmead Hospital from 1981 until his retirement from medical practice in 2015, and is now Consultant Emeritus. He founded and was Director of the Blood and Marrow Transplant Service at Westmead Hospital until 2008. He is a Clinical Professor in the Sydney Medical School of the University of Sydney at Westmead Hospital. He served as chairman of the Australian Leukaemia Study Group from 1993 until 1999, and was the founding chairman of the Australasian Leukaemia and Lymphoma Group in 1999-2003. He was a member of the Board of the Leukaemia Foundation of Australia, and chairman of the Medical and Scientific Advisory Committee of that organization from 2001 until 2014.

John B Fairfax


Mr Fairfax is a director of Marinya Capital Pty Limited. He was Chairman of Rural Press Ltd from 1990 until 2007 when it merged with Fairfax Media. He then re-joined the Fairfax Board until standing down in 2010. He began his career in newspapers in 1961 as a cadet journalist at The Sydney Morning Herald and worked in management positions throughout Fairfax before joining the Board in 1979. He resigned as Deputy Chairman at the time of the Tryart takeover in 1987. Mr Fairfax has been a director of other public companies including Westpac Bank and is a director of Thomson Reuters Founders Share Company.

Mr Fairfax is actively involved with several not-for-profit organisations including President of the Girls & Boys Brigade, Patron of The Red Room Company and Vice Patron of Stroud Heritage Conservation Inc. He served as Chairman of the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW Foundation from 2008 to 2012. He is a founding trustee of the Anthony Rothe Memorial Trust.

Peter Welch

Mr Welch became a Fellow of Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1980. He was a partner in Deloitte Haskins & Sells between 1976 and 1987 and was a founding partner of Welch Porter chartered accountants from 1987 until he resigned from the partnership in 2005. He is a founding trustee of the Anthony Rothe Memorial Trust.

Tim Eustace


After admission to the New Zealand Bar in 1984, Mr Eustace joined Buttle Wilson (later a JB Were’s subsidiary) to trade bonds and fixed interest securities. He later joined the equities desk of MacIntosh Hampson Hoare Govett in London, specialising in NZ and Australian stocks. Since 1989 he has worked as a Sydney based investment advisor, leaving UBS Private to establish his own business, Grosvenor Financial Services, in 2000. This was sold in 2009 to publicly-listed Perpetual Trustees, and Mr Eustace and his 40 staff transferred to Perpetual to form a new specialist division within it’s broader private wealth business. Mr Eustace is actively involved in a number of heritage and constitutional organisations, and serves as a trustee on over twenty private charitable foundations and superannuation funds. He has been a trustee of the Anthony Rothe Memorial Trust since 2013.
